Junk

Junk

A Poem by Soren

Scraps are all that remain in my poem's domain, late, the muse retired
From trash to obtain a single refrain, from broken pieces once inspired
Tarnished with rust, covered with dust, I, glue bits and broken pieces
From decay of past dismay, mended hope somehow increases

Most welcome, Soren 🕊🙏🏻
I have discarded poetic efforts but often found them later and was able to piece together something that works...Scraps can be mended into really good poems....Been there, done that.
I like this...
