Now

Now

A Poem by Soren

Searching for what we didn't have we became what we are
Seeds ground into a salve, poverty kept in a stone jar
Seasoning that with passing years has lost its flavor
Sensations washed away in muddy tears, time its engraver

We are a product of your experiences, good or bad. I’m with Jacob; I wouldn’t change a thing otherwise I’d be someone else. Thought-provoking write my friend.

Thank you MCS for your review and kind words of support they are most appreciated.
for me, the Now is best...I don't think I would change anything in my past, but living it again, no thanks.

I learned from it and feel I became what I am and that is okay. I do feel seasoned.
