At what point?

At what point?

A Poem by Soren

When does a touch become a shove, a push a caress of love?

How close can grass be until it encroaches on the roots of a tree

A joke becomes a poke at one's integrity when meanly spoke

When does pruning a branch turn to cutting down a pine, does a hug liberty confine

When is it a crime to cage a bird, only when our needs for theirs are transferred

Does a kiss become a rape, only when there is no escape

Correction turns abuse when learning for anger becomes its excuse

Control is the key between love and liberty

When selfish control of another's soul is the goal

Release the dove it will return if there is love

Hiii Sorennnn!!! What another wonderful writtern poem. It's true where and when does that line get draw for our boundaries. This poem made me think more about my past experiences and my boundaries. When I had too much or too little of them. Once I allow myself to get hurt without creating those boundaries I end up with those consequences of experiencing pain.

I love how you concluded this poem with "release the dove it will return if these is love." What a wonderful ending to end this poem with love. Love can heal all things.

Thanks Soren!! Hope you're doing we'll. 🤗🤗🤗
