Father, God, Nation

Father for us did provide

When small in his shadow we did hide

On his strength we did depend

Complete compliance we had to extend

We find God in want and hunger

A he, odd not a she, old not younger

Loving only us, all others are foes

Always forgiving of our anger and blows

A nation sends us to war

that is if we are the poor

Beat our chests that we're the best

Enemies and heathens all the rest

Father, God, government, nation

Holy protectors of control's preservation

Now this is a poem with a deeply profound message. Art should elicit response in its readers. Especially when asking and challenging its audience to seek their own answer to these vital questions that plague us as a society. Like that old aphorism states, "if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." But what if what you stand for is irredeemably inhumane? It's such a paradoxical question, which depends on perspective and one's moral integrity. Sorry for the rant my friend your poem has worked its magic on me. Excellent work, Soren.

I can giv example Karna, he believes in doing giving off if anybody asks, and he was standing for bad people
Though he was powerful but he was killed by arjun, dharma what is right if believe it will definitely protect you. But standing for wrong reason though you hav everything you fall definitely.,

I love my man not that he is innocent but I committed that I just need as he also needed me, he might be god or devil. If he is devil I will make him right to not to be killed any, because bad people died and will be killed by God...
I believe in my man he is not a rogue..neither child too he knows what he is doing...

I see it as father son mother because country or nation is always treated as mother . You have nicely explained what they are to us

I was thinking father is great when he is performing his role takes care entirely. As we depend more on him we become so sick of them, instead you share the responsibility that will be easy for Him also.
Mother always teaches to be bold because she never wants the son when he outside he is not beaten or hurt by any.
God is we think is somewhere outside but he always our power when we do good. He scares when you do wrong
