What is greatness

No matter how pure a drop might be it is great only when joined in the sea

A poem perfect meter and rhyme is only famous when by others judged sublime

How fickle tongues of acclaim that one poem shame and another give fame

Novels by millions now lie dead, prize winners only those that are read

No claim can be made for greatness in perfection without public detection
