Elixir of life

Void of nothingness, when there was no in or out

Before before, no time no darkness or light

Out of emptiness, virgin air came about

Oxygen embracing hydrogen, bonded tight

Water  birthed, distilled drops of falling rain

Sun's fire peers through cloud facades

Earth made of things dead, plants growing out of past pain

Animal's grazing, man's meat given by gods

Womb of the abyss impregnated with the seed of life

Air, water, earth, fire to form a philosopher stone

Creations' umbilical cord cut with evolution's knife

From Adam or atom came the bone

Once there was a avoid, blacknesss, no air to breathe… until finally light came upon us, air to breathe and the seed of life was born,
From the womb sprang newborns to further the cycle of life….perhaps from Adam.. or is that not a truth?
