Falling apartA Poem by SorenOf a core concealed, now stripped and revealed so little remains Bits and scraps into twilight collapse, as night nothing contains Peeled away in layers of decay, petals fall from the flower With sun's crawl, remove a shawl shadow's won't stop the hour A coat dropped, a bubble popped, a crust taken away Shaving scales from eyes to see morning skies, awakened to a new day
