Who's the fool

Who's the fool

A Poem by Soren

A lamb amongst wolves, a dove circled by vultures
A man called mad in this world's cultures
Reasoning with a spider, hands up calming a raging wave
A lunatic speaks to the hangman digging his own grave

Mumbles and grumbles, babble to the rabble
Tumbles after stumbles, in patching broken eggs we dabble
A dented can, only half a man, different than the rest
Broken teeth on tin, the food within tastes the best

Hope extends in straightening bends in a sunbeam
In blind night painting black and white a colored dream

Sometimes, more often than I’d care to admit, I feel like the fool; big time!
