What schools don't teach

What if instead of focusing on being in first place we taught children to help others do their best

Instead of competition cooperation, instead of conniving open honesty

Helping them understand when a relationship is more important than being right

That compassion is stronger than power 

That helping the weak is never weak

How to be sensitive to other's feelings 

That money is less important than people

That when you take what isn't yours you loose part of your soul

That peace is better than war

And that courage is doing what's right regardless of the consequences

That love is putting someone else above and in front of yourself

Maybe it is children that need to teach us

Quite a curriculum here, Soren. If kids could learn all these things they might also be able to walk on water.

Actually John I think that kids are much closer to learning these things that we adults. I think sometimes that we steer them in the wrong direction. Thanks so much for the read and comment my friend.
