Is the law above the law or under the law, I know what I saw

Blood of bias stains our eyes, a crippled mind makes up alibies

Self defense or execution, standing on the fence no good solution

Judge not, it is said, you can't get inside another's head

But what of justice you say, didn't you hear, it died yesterday

Author's Note

Rashomon a movie by Akira Kurosawa that shows a murder from four different points of view all different and it is left up to the viewer to decide which is right. This effect affects eye witness testimonies based not on lies or different angles but individual preexisting biases. We see what we want to see.

Yes, the law is above the law. Our leader talks about the very bad guy who was arrested, an illegal with 22 warrants...coming from a fellow with 34. mmmmmmmmmmm.

I love the use of your sarcasm and great writing to show us how you see the world as it is today in America...A real punch done so eloquently....when will this "war" on us disappear? it seems to be getting worse... and we are in fear, hopeless, trying to fight back the way we know how....more deaths, more chaos surging through our minds...and our once allies despise us...where to turn??? Thanks for this one, Soren. I assume you're referring to the shooting of the woman driver in Minneapolis by the ICE agent. Many different views of this incident are being currently floated. I am going to have to rent Rashomon.
