Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by Soren

Sapphire dots on black velvet wings, a night sky afloat on invisible strings

A portal to Thanatos heaven opened in day, drifting dreams too soon flown away

Transfigured wings destined from birth, carry flittering scraps above worm's earth

Crawling caterpillars, from a chrysalis fly, painted whispers soar on summer's sky

Folded food of birds as broken words, and such is the end of butterfly herds

The life of a butterfly, told in the most inspiring and delicious words, only from you, Soren.....
This night sky and bits of light...."fluttering scraps above worm's earth"....a beautiful way of saying mother earth...with crawling caterpillars, part of the butterfly's life cycle.... and birds must eat, perhaps the end of a butterfly's cycle...excellent!
Warmly, B
