A poet's journey

A poet's journey

A Poem by Soren

Black thoughts, paranoid plots, addiction a self crucifixion drown in anxiety
Psychosis wrapped in neurosis, obsession blanketed in depression lost sobriety
By tongue or lung out of pain art sprung, a paper scraper with a pen
He paints with blood emotion's flood, splashes of ink on a page sink, a holy amen

I am so glad you are a poet, Soren, and a fine one at that.
WE all benefit from your output and we learn much about what we might not experience ourselves.

Anytime ☺️
This sounds like an Emo artist right down to the depression and paranoia. Poets tend to bare their souls and wear their hearts out on their sleeves but some write purely for the cathartic effect, an emotional purge of fears and anxieties too stirring to keep down. I think any effort to cleanse the self of emotional toxins is a great self-help tool. I enjoyed the read, nice, succinct and a bit punchy. Good work, F.
