White, blue, black

White, blue, black

A Poem by Soren

Where the foam of the sea meets the frothing surf of sky's clouds
Two mirrors laid face to face and what lies between but blue
until the shadows creep in leaving mist between the two
Undulating breakers wash heaven, bathing God's hanging shrouds

Between reflective faces lay dark dreams in rolling billows
Fogged glass spaces blur tired eyes obscuring vision
No lit beacon's beam pierces watery walls division
Pressed between sea and sky, in heaven or deep one finds sleep's pillows
