Oncoming trafic

Oncoming trafic

A Poem by Soren

Driving life's road, pulling a heavy load, I watched trucks and cars coming on
My past approaching, upon me encroaching, fear it did spawn
As it passed by, in a blink of an eye it was gone
Speeding so fast ahead amassed lines of cars a rolled truck of Exon
In a traffic jam of time speeding is a crime, one can not turn around
In life's lane one must remain, all four wheels on the ground
So in life's traffic I am holographic, I await a prisoner of fait
Resting on the side board of a Ford plate as vulture bait

And if we speed through those lights always expect a fine in the mail and we say they must of made a mistake. No they didn’t we were just in a hurry that day

Great write I did like this one a lot

Thank you Julie for the read and kind words in comment they are deeply appreciated
Gritty and reflective—life rolls heavy with no easy exits.
The imagery hits hard, fate riding shotgun all the way.
