Better than who?

Who has not told a lie, for good or bad or who knows why

Who has not stolen a thing, a pen, a pencil, a piece of string

Who has not had a bad thought, about a man or woman or what not

Who has not taken a life, a mosquito, a fly, a thistle or garden weeds rife

How is pornography worse than a scantily clothed model or celebrity

No harm in a bare arm, and we look innocently on a naked knee

But a bare breast or groin we detest, did not the God that gave one give the rest

Is it that with jealousy we harshly judge those that we begrudge

- First stanza - Who has not? - obviously no one has not.
- Second stanza first three lines - I would say one is not worse or better than the other but I doubt our ability to react to them equally the same. Perhaps the fault really is in ourselves and not the stars.
- Second stanza last line - I see judgement as either good or bad depending on its usage or application. And the crux of the issue for me is an element in the last line - Is it with jealousy that we judge and does it result in envy or resentment?
