Bliss' home

Bliss' home

A Poem by Soren

A tropical breeze under palm trees, Chardonnay and caldo de camarones
Eighty degrees, shorts to my knees, Calypso de canciones
Walking a sandbar with a maduro cigar in the moon light
Bare feet in the sand holding your hand, a lighthouse beams ahead bright
Waves lap the shore calling for more, star's kisses in the sky
A siren's call on an island small, a place for which to die

Hi,

I like your idea of bliss, in times of work and stress, i forgot to dream what is my blissful life, definitely a bliss your thoughts.

and hold it carefully and shaped into the words i known to write 😇😅
Now this is definitely a man’s idea of bliss. Keep dreaming, though I do sense danger ahead. The lighthouse beams tell me so. Nicely composed Soren.

I think a woman’s idea of heaven would be similar but maybe not with the cigar :))

Well I have known a couple that smoke them as well as a pipe
This has a bright, sensory sweep—salt air, warmth, motion—like desire dressed as paradise.
The grit is in the final turn: beneath the beauty, there’s that quiet edge where longing starts to blur into danger, and escape begins to feel like surrender.

I think of Prince..."I would die for you"--
together, blissfully, on an island of love.
What a way to go...I would be having a Pina Colada, I think.
this poem is a passageway into a very contented feeling.
