Darkness at dawn

Darkness at dawn

A Poem by Soren

A lump in the chest, awoken from sleep devoid of rest, head spinning in the mud
A dullness explains it best, not up to day's test, each thought a sullen thud
There's a darkness at dawn, half awake with a yawn, the fire has gone out
Black thoughts spawn as all hope is gone, I have lost this route
