Antibody

Inspired by a book of the same name, written by one Rebecca Salazar

Mystic boy not

transfixed by ulterior,

interior masked interfighting

interstellar"his brain off

away in his transgression.

Fed him a worm, wriggled

off the hook, steel mixed

on the razor wire;

transpire to anew fresh"

something spectacular

Not was his eyes fixed on

falsities. Fell on the knife;

bled not long. Consensual? Wasn’t

so"and so he fell upon the antibody

Tell him he can’t wasn’t will not.

Give up and be not be what you are

Swallow spit. You can do it

Good boy (he loves it)

Good boy

Soulii
It takes one hook to send someone into a world in which they are unfamiliar with. This poem highlights how someone's perspective can change radically when influenced by flash media.
