Too dark

Too dark

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

I’m laying here alone…

So cold and so ashamed.

I close my eyes to escape these demons.

And I see images from my own death playing like an old movie.

This isn’t right.

Somewhere along the way I lost myself.

And you knew me when I was bleeding.

And now I am bleeding again.

But because of you.

Slowly...

So I can see it.

So I can feel it.

So I can touch it.

And hear it.

I was never afraid of the dark.

Or of what it holds..

But now I’m plunging to my death

At the speed of light…

Ready for impact.

I don’t have to worry about the mess…

It will be too dark for them to see anything.

That was a tragic and yet a deep write. The pain has been effectively put into words. Imagery is beautifully used...
I liked it...
Great Write!!

This is when a friend throws another a rope down.
A flowing poem of sadness; pouring out frustration and questioning ones self worth.

"And now I am bleeding again.

What a sad realisation! I hope it's fiction and the sun will shine a new tormorrow for all. Thank you for sharing.
