What You Have Done

What You Have Done

A Poem by Steve Paschall

What you have done for the least of my brethren

you have done for me

Simple as:

Don't turn your back on the downtrodden

They may just have the key

Nobody's perfect - or we wouldn't be here

Tryin' to make it a little better each year

So forgive your friends - forgive your relations

Hell - I think we ought to forgive foreign nations

And do what you can for everyone that you meet

And never forget the man on the street.
