Its all been for her

I feel like im standing the edge of the universe watching it burn.

Watching the earth slowly stop turning.

I eyes sting from crying for strangers.
My heart shatters.
My blood is cold.

Staring at the end of the world

I feel peace.

Knowing she will be protected.
She innocent in all of this.

If I would have known....

But I never wanted someone so much in my life.

She is my soul living outside my body.

Every fear I have ever had
Is amplified.

New fears pop up like weeds.

We are the only ones who will truly protect her without expecting anything in return.

I just want her to feel loved.

Even as the world ends. I want to be able to smile and laugh with her til the very last moments.

As long as she protected.
Im at peace where I end up.

I just wanted to see her grow up.
And really experience life.
At this point
Ill be happy to make it to next Christmas.
