I watched you
Tremble
And stumble-
Attempting to
Walk.
Your body
Couldn’t handle
The stress.
Falling to
The floor
With a crash.
It shook
My soul
And
Shattered my heart.
I couldn’t help
You-
Hoping that this
Is a
Night terror.
Calling out
For assistance,
‘Anyone please!’
You woke
With a
Jolt.
A startling
Jolt-

That confused
You.
Lifeless tears
Rolled down
My face
Like
Liquid nitrogen.
‘Your ok
Now?’
‘Are you
Sure?’
