Burning BiblesA Poem by spence

Spence,
Coming from a very different perspective, I will laud redemption's power and beauty in my own life. It isn't an excuse to do nothing to make this world a better place . That is just complacency, often laziness, which at times, admittedly comes from me, not from true christianity which says to serve orphans and widows. That is the heart of the gospel in it's pure sense- helping the downtrodden in spirit/soul/or both.I forget to do this- or choose to forget, so this poem is a good shake-up. So true, but it wouldn't surprise me after all that has been done if God turned his back and simply said "To Hell with the lot.".
