A satirical take on the political process of climate change 'concerns'. I wrote this with a stereotypical native american voice in mind.

Government Wise Man say

With solemn straight face…

 

‘Come now boys and girls

Let’s combat climate change…

It is pointless pointing fingers

That linger on the blame

Of the states and corporations

That would not play the game

They have really, truly, honestly

Learned the error of their ways

We’re all in this together

We must all act to save

Mother Earth

And in turn

The human race

Oh and, by the way,

We’ve decided you should pay’
