Saint Peter

Just Christian poem i wrote. I am not Christian, nor do i have a problem against any religious affiliation.

Do you know what you'd say
To Saint Peter at his pearl gates
Would you let him begin,
And let the great Saint name your sin?

Or would you throw yourself at his feet,
And admit your defeat?

Would you ask for forgiveness?
Tell him that you were not religious?
You could give up and cry, 
and lament that you died.

But whatever you did, 
Peter would forgive. 

He makes you stand, 
And kisses you hand.

He blesses your fate,
and clears your sins.
He will open the gates,
And lead you to ascendance.
