The weedsA Poem by SAYED THANGALweeds are always a problem for the cropsTo gain mastery, the weeds, Invisible in the field earlier, Compete, often, overpower the crops, Oh ! struggle to uproot the weeds Care constant, high vigilance, Make the weeds recede Still, be in wait, not losing the grip Again to up shoot. ' What a difference' , amazing No attention,no formal input, Yet, the unwanted, from all corners Spring up one by one. ' The land likes the weeds' Surely suspected Yes,may the instincts be so. But how obstinate one is. With two eyes to two side, Crushed with one hand the enemy, Held up ,with the other, the harvest, Smiles, peace, joy at last.
