friends?

The tears come

rushing, blinding

salty waves of despair

and pain'

a friend deceives, the enemy acheives

his goal

to drive you mad.

running panting

sweating, screaming

injustices of life.

How can we be happy

when friends are enemies

and enemies

are all around us?

we shield ourselves

 from the pain

and shieldourselves

from the possibilities

.for love

is all around 

just waiting for a crack

in the shield.

to expose ourselves once more

to

the pain.
