She had a great interest in singing and acting since childhood and was very fond of taking part in various events in her school. Performing to live audience was her biggest passion and she would never miss out on any opportunity to show off her talent and abilities. Her endearing qualities and happy positive energy were admired by everyone. As a child, Natalia always shined amongst the children of her age, and her acting skills were remarkable. After moving to New Zealand, she became shy and distanced herself from performing arts because as a teenager it was getting difficult for her to adjust in the new culture and at the age of 16 she moved out of her family home to find a separate place for herself. She attended a music festival in 2001, where the director of Pavement Magazine spotted her and introduced her to a client as he thought she had the perfect face and the charm for modeling. Natalia happily entered the world of modeling and her success rapidly grew, gracing magazine covers and appearing in the pages of numerous magazines. Her looks were often compared to those of Audrey Hepburn which earned her a nickname “Russian Audrey”. During her modeling career, she rediscovered the lost passion for working in front of the camera and further decided to step in to the world of television. Her first television appearance was when she was cast in a campaign for Magnum ice cream. After that, she was asked to campaign for many other commercials.
