Samantha Doran is an Australian actress best known for her remarkable acting skills in Tender Comrade (2010), Dark Angels (2010). She always had a great passion for performing arts and strived in this field to reach for the stars.Samantha attended the renowned Victorian College for the Arts, where she trained in all aspects of Musical Theatre. It was here she had the incredible opportunity to perform at events like ‘The Kookaburra National Musical Theatre Gala’ with some of her idols, including Marina Prior.

As a child, Samantha was always heavily involved in school musicals and productions. Growing up in Australia, she was fortunate enough that her parents supported her passion and encouraged her involvement in local theatre company productions. This in-built enthusiasm and hard work helped her score a place at the prestigious, New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Samantha then continued her studies, with a stronger focus on Film and TV, at the Lee Strasberg Institute in LA. Since then, Samantha has attended classes at various schools, including Anthony Meindl’s Actors Workshop. 

In 2013, Samantha moved from Australia to Vancouver and scored a role in a post-apocalyptic pilot‘Tide Waters’ Dir. Terrence Winkles (Power Rangers, Pacific Blue). A highlight of Samantha’s career was her performance in the horror film ‘Double Shadow’. She played polar opposite twins, who were in love with the same murderous guy. Samantha carried off the challenging role beautifully.

Apart from her passion for acting, Samantha has developed several other interests including Horse Riding and producing her own work. Adding to her impressive list of skills, Samantha is also a classically trained mezzo-soprano singer.
