Chapter 2

Ben and Ciara said goodbye to friends and family before embarking on their vacation to Johannesburg, South Africa. They needed a break after everything that went down in Salem. Baby Bo was cleared for the flight, and Ciara booked a flight for the three of them.

Sarah and Xander were making wedding preparations after their ordeal the last 2 years, when Xander was misled by Kristen to believe that Sarah ran out on him on their wedding day.

"Hey, I'd love to stay in bed all day with you, but I need to see Eric about officiating at our wedding," Sarah said after kissing Xander passionately.

"Can't you see Eric tomorrow?" Xander pleaded with a smooch.

"Um, no, the wedding's in a couple of days," Sarah replied.

"Well, if you must?" Xander said, pouting, as Sarah hurried to get dressed so she could go see Eric.

"You haven't asked Eric yet?"

"Well, Eric's been busy with his family after the whole demon possession of Johnny and Allie, I didn’t get the chance to ask."'

"Yeah, I can't believe that both Johnny and Allie were possessed, and that Allie absconded with Ben and Ciara's newborn?"

"Well, all's well that ends well?" Sarah said, happy that life in Salem is back to normal after all that went down.

Sarah gave Xander one last kiss before heading out to see Eric. Xander was about to jump in the shower when he noticed a call come in from Victor.

Hesitating a few before pick up, Xander pushed accept, "Yes, Uncle Vic?"

"Xander, you need to get over to Titan now!" Victor demanded.

"Who screwed up this time?" Xander said, exasperated.

"Sonny's disappeared, and I have no CEO for Titan!"

"Why do I care?! You ousted me from Titan?!" Xander reminded his Uncle.

"Well, I need you now!"

"Okay, I'm on my way!" Xander said before ending the call.

"Well, guess the shower will have to wait?" Xander said as he quickly dressed, grabbed some coffee, and headed to the Kiriakis mansion.

Back in Johannesburg, JJ and Gabi made arrangements for dinner with Theo and his girlfriend, Serita at a posh spot that JJ and Theo were fond of.

As soon as the four of them arrived at the restaurant, Theo and JJ were met by a friend, Josh, who encouraged them to a game of pool. So Serita and Gabi found a table and got acquainted with each other.
