Black Rainbow

This is a poem about loss.

A black rainbow in the horizon

Mad with grief she plunges to her

death

The man loses all hope and crashes

into a wall

The old bum leaning against

the embankment takes a swig

and lets out a heavy sigh

Just gotta grin and bear it

my friend

there's a bad omen in the sky
