Forever Goodbye.

Forever Goodbye.

A Chapter by Stephanie Jones

I never thought I could move so fast, without a second passing by, I had already grabbed my little sister who was asleep in the carriage and darted, and Trevor was right behind me with the bags.

“Who says dreams don’t come true.” I yelled back to him.

“Juliet, this isn’t a dream this is a nightmare.”

“WAIT! WAIT UP!!!” The person behind up yelled, and without a thought required to react, I stopped.

“Jewels, what are you doing? Come on let’s go!”

“Trevor, stop…its-it’s Kellan?” I gasped on the last word and my face got very warm. Blushing, hard, not fun.

“Jeez, you two can run fast.” Kellan said trying to catch his breath.

“Well, it’s not our fault, we thought one of her dreams were coming true.” I hated the fact he blinked like an idiot on dreams.

“Dreams?” Kellan asked worried.

“Uhm, they are really nothing. I guess I just saw something in my dream, and then the day after it happened, it was coincidence.”

“Tell me more about it later.”

“Kay.” I smiled and blushed.

Trevor cracked up at the sight, and with that I put Lexi down and started running.

“Wait, Juliet wait up.”

“No, Trevor.” I turned around furious. “I need to try something.” Then I turned back around and started running.

It felt just like my dream to, I was running, my heart racing, trying not to get away from something but to find something. And then I fell. Right down a hill. Yeah, my dream was coming true very fast, but I remembered just  as in the dream, I was on a mission, and though I was bleeding, it felt wonderful.

“Juliet!” It was an echo from a distance, I kept my pace.

Finally I saw it the light, the light and darted out of the wood so fast and into the sunlight, and stopped blank, as I had in my dream and sat down. I was right at the cliffs edge, but I sat and as I did in the dream, was amazed by where I was. Suddenly, I felt someone next to me. They sat down to.

They took my hand in theirs and it was just like the dream, but his hand was warmer, softer. Perfect. I couldn’t help but look at the man.

“Kellan.” I gasped for air, my heart was racing.

“Hey, Juliet.”

“Why, why are you here.”

“I had a dream, like yours, that led me here, following after a girl running in the forest.”

“Wait what?” He was outstanding.

“I had a dream like you did. So are you ready for the next part?”

“I-I, this can’t be true, I-I-I can’t jump off a cliff.”

“Trust me it’s easy.” And with that I stood up. How couldn’t I trust him, in this very moment, something led us here.

“It’s not that, I don’t know what happens next.”

“You mean, when we hit.”

“Yes.”

“Well Juliet, something led us here today, I don’t know what, but it had to. And it wants us to jump this cliff, and I think it didn’t show us our future to the extent of what happens after, because it wants us to do it ourselves.”

“Will we make it out alive?”

“I know we will.” He was so confident on the fate of both our lives it was almost scary.

“Okay.” And with that he took my hand again, and walked backwards.

“Ready?” He smiled big. I nodded once and we ran.

It took about three steps, before we hit the ledge, but both of us hit that last step hard and we went far off into the air. It was so accelerating, I never felt so alive, and all the while he kept his promise, he held my hand. The jump was long and breath-taking, but I didn’t fear much but what was to come next.

We hit the icy water just perfectly, but just kept going down, and down.

I never thought much about the way I would die, but dying like this, with someone who was now my world seemed like a good way to go. Trevor was taking care of Lexi, she could forget me in time. Trevor would always remember me but our memories slip with old age. And as for me, I didn’t care much about what was to occur next, I just knew that now was perfect, and as my mind started to slip, I remembered Kellans face, than Lexis, and Trevors, and they started to go faster and faster, until everything went blank.
