Everyone loves them fight scenes.A Chapter by Stephanie JonesMe, an immortal falling for my cursed enemy the vampire. But I suppose that was just my luck. Finding the kid in the world that meant everything only to find he is my enemy. How did I not see the signs? He was so human. His eyes, facial features seeing insanely imperfect. “What is impossible?” He said, worry striking his face as he sits on the bed next to me. I flinch away from his gentlest of touch. “Stay away from me you disgusting vampire.” His expression went from sorrow to hurt. “Disgusting? Me? Who are you to say that ever.” I hissed at that. More like growled viscously. I felt like killing him. He knew right away. And darted off the bed to the corner hissing back. “How is this possible for you to be a vampire?” I hissed through my clenched teeth. “How did you not know I was a vampire? Easy, I am good at hiding. But you, you stupid immortal, I should have known from the start. I thought you were just born beautiful but really you were just a sick immortal?” Was he simply ridiculing my existence? “I am not stupid or sick, you are the one who is afraid to show himself to the real world.” I shouted. “That world was never meant for me.” He shouted back. “And apparently it was meant for me? How selfish of you, only a stupid vampire would say something like that.” “Us vampires aren’t stupid. You better respect my existence. We are a whole class over you sticking immortals.” His words enraged me. “What are you going to do if I don’t respect your existence. I’ve attacked a vampire before, I can do it again.” I was simply provoking a battle amongst us and our people. “I’m going to tear you to pieces.” He shouted. “Oh and hurt a girl?” I said, making fun of his anger. “You are not a girl, none the less a monster.” That hurt. “Me? Have you seen yourself. A disgusting creature such as you don’t deserve life.” My last words sent him over the edge. He flung himself at me, and I had the luck of moving just in time. He slammed into his wall. That didn’t stop his attacking though. He tried attacking me once more. I flew out of the way, and out of his room. I jumped from the main level up two flight of stairs to the third floor. He picked our battle area quite nicely. Within seconds he tracked my sent and flew up to the floor I was at. “Fight me.” He screamed. “You aren’t deserving of a fight.” I tried calming him down, I only anted to anger him, but he could kill me. “Oh yeah?” Once again he threw himself at me, and I managed to move but still got hit. The thrust moved me and I slammed into a wall. He did too. It stung, but the feeling faded only to see him coming towards to attack again. I was prepared to move and darted out of the way as he rammed himself into the wall, before going threw it. I darted down his hallway and into a room. I locked the door behind me, and although it wouldn’t hold him long, I needed time to recharge. “You stupid immortal!!” And I heard him bang the door once, then twice, before everything went silent. I took in one breathe, even though it was unnecessary, just to regain focus. Next thing I couldn’t imagine happening ever. He charged through the wall hit me and because he was going so fast we went through a wall together. Only problem? There wasn’t another wall. And we went flying into the main road where traffic was coming straight on. Within seconds we hit the road, right as a car was coming. It would have hit us except for the fact that the road underneath us broke from me and his such impact leaving a crater, such as on the moon. And the car had such a ramp off it, it went flying over us. The next car screeched to a halt. Amazed by what it saw. I jumped up immediately. Him flowing behind. He punched me in the face. And I flew back onto the ground/crater area with such force that the width of the crater spread further out. I jumped up, and before he knew anything I punched him back but in the gut. He went flying into a neighbors house. But it didn’t break. No, I wasn’t that strong. The person inside the car was calling 911. No shocker though I would be too after seeing such a fight scene. While I was watching the person in the car Matt decided to take a new angle on me and I got kicked and flew over the person in the car onto the car behind it breaking the glass. Worst part, is somehow getting out of here without all the questions. Best part, that little kick didn’t hurt. I jumped on the roof of the persons car before darting towards Matt with all force possible. Diving into him and having both of us fly back into the road. Both sides stopped moving. This was a show worth watching. Matt remained unmoving after this last hit. I wasn’t finished though. I immediately grabbed him by the collar dragging him up to his feet making sure he could stand. Then right when he finally remembered everything, I kicked him in the stomach. He went flying. And when he made contact with the ground another crater was formed. He got up immediately. Maybe he was okay? I saw his face. He was going to kill me. Let me cherish these last moments. He charged at me, and I squirmed and closed my eyes. A few seconds later I opened them surprised by how I wasn’t dead yet. I looked up to see about five people holding him back. And, I didn’t recognize who they were at first, but it easily came to mind. They were the special ones. Picked by their honesty and care to defend my world. The world of immortals and vampires and werewolves and even fairies. They fixed problems. Two of them were coming over to me. About fifteen of them were inspecting the damage, and about 50 of them were talking to the humans, getting what they know, and figuring out how to make them forget. “Come with us.” They stated in time. I did as told. I also watched them drag Matt away, obviously he wasn’t chill. “Are you okay?” Someone asked me in the dark. It was pitch black, and even with my eyes I couldn’t see them. It annoyed me. “I will be. What happened, why are you all here?” I stated, worried as I spoke to the voice. “I know you know what happened, but we are here because, there was a fight within our worlds between two teenagers who couldn’t control themselves.” He had no idea. “You have it all wrong, see, I was dating him, but I didn’t know, and then, we started screaming, and then he attacked, and I attacked back, and we flew out the window.” I was stuttering, trying as hard as possible to speak fast and get my words heard. “I saw very much of what happened tonight sweetheart. But, obviously, you two were raised wrong.” Ouch, that sort of hurt. “I wasn’t raised much at all to be honest.” I said looking down. “I know, my visionist told me all about you. You are a very unique individual. Stronger and truly better then all of us.” That shocked me? “How is that sir?” I said, very confused. “Sweetie, among our race there are fairies, witches and warlocks, animal shifters, human shifters, immortals, vampires, and werewolves, since we all fight at the same strength, extras as whom you know somehow were changed into one of us who can live forever but have no abilities or strengths, and specials. That is where you are classified. You were never an immortal, though you always claim you are. You don’t even know your strengths, or really how powerful you truly are.” I was shocked, but as he paused I knew he wanted me to speak. “I have never heard of half those classes, I only knew of—“I got cut off again. “Of course you haven’t, you were taught there are only four classes and that we live different. How do you think you did half those things out there tonight. Not even feeling the car glass cutting into you? You are special. You could have killed him. You would have, but instead you almost let him kill you.” “I thought immortals weren’t as good as vampires, I was afraid, I—“ Cut off once more. “Sweetie, forget everything you ever thought you knew.” The voice caught itself hoping I’d speak, but my tongue felt tied. The man with the voice came out of the shadows. He was wearing a long black outfit that covered everything. He took of the top and I saw his head. He was beautiful. Much better then me. But also older. Maybe 40. “What are you?” I said and I was shocked I said that. “I am a guider and partially and extra.” He paused inhaling, “I was chosen to come here today to not only prevent this fight, but to ask you to come with us. Back to the our land. Where we can teach you right vs. wrong. Or even how to simply learn your skills. You are going to be powerful, great.” Was that a pick up line or what? But, I feel for it. My mind shot fifty different ideas. But when it came down to it, I didn’t know my powers, I didn’t even know what I was. And, after tonight, I needed to get out of town. “Okay.” I stated, and he simply nodded his head. We walked back to where the group was. Some still telling stories and fixing while most had already fixed all damages. I saw Matt. He looked over at me, a little shocked, and scared. They must have told him what I was. That I could have killed him, no the other way around. Did he know where I was going? Did I know where I was going. No. We both hardly knew much. I followed the man up the road until we saw the nine black cars. They halted to a stop and we went into the one in between all nine. Obviously, we were well protected. “Where are we going?” I stated, calm. “Iwo Jima.” I’ve never heard of that before. “Is that even real? I know my maps.” “It’s not marked on a map.” “Oh.” I stated, turning my head to the window. I was frowning. Upset. “Hey, uhm, when we were at your apartment, I found this.” I looked over to see my iPod. “Oh my gosh! It is my ipod, thank you so much.” He handed it to me, and immeadiately I put the headphones in and blasted the music. I laid my head down and lowered myself in the seat before closing my eyes.
