Celestial Showcase
A Poem by
Stephanie
Come dance with me beneath the stars Under a vast night sky peppered with light Breathe in the magical night air Begin the whirlpool waltz Follow the pattern of a distant galaxy Twirl me round and round Match our movement with the graceful outline Of stars even science can’t touch Hold me close under the moonlight Her luminescence our only spotlight Virgo and Venus our only audience The stars in our eyes the only concern Regale the late night orchestra Owls and crickets conductors of the eve Starlight and a midnight breeze Sway the veil of beautiful mystery The very nebulas we admire Keep a vigil over our dance Casting new light on every footstep Watching each inhale of breath The shooting star applauds us Spreading a trail through the dark sky Leaving with two newly made wishes That an encore is close in sight

Very magical and vivid imagery you evoke here. It's nice to see something that is skilly put together on this site:)

Sometimes the night makes me want to curl up in the mud and die.

This one said a lot... now comment or review is the question?...
I prefer comment this time... I listened to you... not just heard - and there IS a difference. You're worth the listening to.
Take care,
Chris

"Match our movement with the graceful outline
Of stars even science can’t touch." My favorite line right here. (: You did really well with this. It flows nicely. The meaning is obvious, yet you still have room for imagination. Great job. (:
