After returning to the States

Sometimes you’re a bandit of time

And the months spent somewhere new

Remind you of somewhere old

And vice versa

Life circles around moments

Like buzzards in the heat

Stalking them

The way we focus on a goal

But this will happen

Again

And again

Until you realize

That being content with the hunt

Is all there really is
