No Words Spoken

A girl I met who really doesn't talk and the rumors that can start from it. Her eyes are so expressive and through body language. But to her I have written this poem.

NO WORD SPOKEN

The sun peeks o’er the eastern sky.

The rays of light permeates what was

Once darkness of night.

Morning dew kisses Queen Anne’s Lace

And satiates the crickets who

Moments ago sang their song of love

For all who would only but listen.

No words spoken. No words needed.

For Mother Gaia is keenly aware

Of the guise of pretty words.

One can only approach deity

With a passionate heart.

From the depths of your soul

Your heart enlightened

You connect to spirits of Earth.

No words spoken. No words needed.

I really like it, very descriptive. Creative how you tied in Mother Gaia, the "mother earth" of the greek myths. Reminds me of the dawn on those mornings when it's just you and the nature around you. This poem makes me feel real peaceful, like you've given me a peice of the sunrise.
