My Love

The Sun in my soul has set,

warm red splashes

across a pure blue sky.

The full moon in my heart

has risen

to bathe you in it’s soft warm beams

of gentle love.

I feel spring’s calm descend

as we await our summer

of festivals and fetes.

Of long idyllic walks

hand in hand,

the feel of your skin,

the smell of your hair,

the sound of your soft voice,

the warmth

and the deep passion

of your loins.
