For the Suicidal

For the Suicidal

A Poem by Subversive Reality
"

I know

"

You've made the decision
To end your life
No one will change or convince you
It's gone too far this time

And why? Because the pain's too much
To carry on, to struggle forward,
Would have you broken
Would lose the conflict, in simple release

A short snap of falls or gunshots crack
Through your suffering tack
Across the sea you've sailed for years,
In the cold and black

But if you read, then you lack
That which would have taken you,

back already,
The thing you lack is what you have,
Life, and love, though invisible at times,
Is always there, no matter what
You can get through this,

Trust me
