Elusive, dreamy,

Restful, nightly

Hard to reach

No relaxation on the beach

 

Please oh sandy one

Come and leave me drowsy

In Slumberland, peaceful

May I find me warm and cosy

 

No wakeful hours

Or night-time TV

From the day’s frenetics

Release me

 

From darkness and empty silence

Deep in my bed I find

At last it comes welcome

Rest my weary headzzzzz!
