It's autumn tonight
And the leaves are falling outside
Scarlet and red and crimson
As a girl sits beside the flickering fire

It's October tonight
The year is fading slowly
Gold and yellow and saffron
As a girl reads beside the fading fire

Shadows falling on
Words beside the fire
Eyes reading words
Beside the fire 

The fire burns low as
The girl moves closer
To the fireplace the fire
Burns slow as it grows later

The girl watches the
Fleeting flames she daydreams
Opal October away
Holding her book
Beside the fire

Well wouldn't that be nice to read by a fire on a chilly autumn night, this seems like a very pretty scene...having the leaves falling out side and enjoying your favorite book beside the cozy fire. Sounds very relaxing.
