My own path

My own path

A Poem by Summer Grace

I follow my own path
Walking on summer grass
I follow my own way
Walking far, far away

I live my own life
Not the way they
Do out there but the
Way they do in here

Rising sun winter gray
Setting sun summer day
What's better anyway?
I look out of the darkness

To you, you look out
Of the sunshine to me
But, that's not sunshine
It's mundane light, it's mundane day

Summer moonlight
Always feels right
In my darkness is me
Under summer moonlight

Walking away from the rules
That rule the world
Down my own path
July is star lit

January is not worth it
I live in my night time
You live in your day
So you say, but I walk

My own path all the way
You follow the rest
And I never will..always
Walking my own way still-
