Know this.

 

As surely as you hear their claws on the walls;

Their teeth gnawing through all your man made protection,

Voices whispering in your ear telling you things you can't decipher.

 

Know this.

 

Surely as you hear all these things, you see the shadows move;

See toothy grins  that aren't joined with the eyes that they belong too,

Your eyes can barely track the skirting movement about the room.

 

Know this.

 

As surely as you feel them--

Feel their breathe on your skin,

Feel the wounds they left on you,

Feel their poison swimming through your blood.

 

Know this.

 

They're coming for you.
