she had the spirit of a wolf

but he could only handle sheep

she loved in vibrant colors

he knew he could only control the bleak

Powerful words. This short piece spoke volumes with no room for question. Some men are intimidated by strong women and seek to jab at any soft spots and strike at the Achilles heel. I admire poems that highlight women's independence, perseverance, and strength. Righteous message. Great read.

some men thrive on women who are broken...sometimes for the wrong reasons...but the stronger women, they feel outmatched and shy away....we cannot control another person and expect real love back from them.

id say mostly for the wrong reasons. unless he has intentions on helping find her healing, its usually for his own beneficial gain.
too much of a challenge can on weed out the weak or insecure.
