On ArtA Story by Violetta Mortuus, Mistress of Deathjust some silly thoughts on art
The instinctual desires of mankind prove our animal qualities. We can smell with our noses, hear with our ears, feel with our skin, and see with our eyes that we are definitely animal. But there is a certain selfish quality of man that has proved to infect no other species, through a small sliver of DNA that gives us this selfish quality, our ability to perceive things outside of the world our animal eyes see, our overactive imaginations have seemingly no bounds.
You can imagine a tree through constructing an image in your mind based on reconstructions of the past, but we can also imagine a tree that grows sausages. We can also take this a step further. picture a tree, with thick-veined bark, and hanging from it's thinner branches there is some sort of fruit, it has deep red, loose-looking skin, and out of it's pores it sweats a creamy, yellow nectar. what is this fruit? In the physical world, it does not exist, but after hearing this description, you have some sense of this imaginary fruit. This is an example of creating art. Humans do it like no other animal, we can construct these visions in the vast canvas of our imagination and using our bodies to make them real. We cross the borders between earth and the heavens, bringing the earth up to the heavens and the heavens down to the earth. © 2025 Violetta Mortuus, Mistress of DeathAuthor's Note
