I wrote this not being in love with anyone, but I hope it still shows that passion that love can be

if i had a thousand songs for you
they'd never be enough to say
what my soul knows is true

we can wait till day is done
to see if we'll hold hands
and run to the rolling sun

for all the tears and misery
you're the reason that
my sky is clean and blue
and you are the only thing thats true

if my lips held my love
i couldnt kiss you enough
till we leave for Him above

your hands can hold me long
and teach me what you feel
while you sing your song

baby wont you come beside me
and we'll laugh together
see in me your sunrise
this is our forever

Wow. I actually really liked it! it does flow well and I think the words fit right. I'm glad you posted this and I will be sure to read some of your other writing too!
