Meaningless Word?

Am I going crazy?
No, I am not crazy yet
But I am half way there
So maybe that makes me crazy?

Have you lost the meaning?
For the word crazy yet?
Maybe that’s why I’m crazy
Because the word sits in the back of my mind
Whispering that I’m going crazy

Though I know I’m not crazy for feeling crazy
Because there is an uneasy feeling
Anytime I am sitting alone
This crazy feeling settles into my stomach

I hear whispers in the night
I feel someone there watching me
I can’t turn my back to it
For the fear will come if I do
And the fear makes the crazy stay

This kind of jealousy too
It’s new to me like the crazy
I know I don’t want to lose you
But I’ve never been this bad

Who knows what this crazy is?
I hope it doesn’t stay
But i guess it’s making sure I don’t get lonely?
Then again who said crazy needs a reason
Isn’t that why I am here?
