I want That Duck's Phone Number

Humorous short story of strange things that wake a person out of a day dream

There is this man waiting by the copy machine for his report to finish printing out.      He is startled  out of his day dream of what he hopes to do during his weekend off , by the peculiar sound of the quack of a duck !

     He whip his head around to find out what made the noise, and to his surprise,

there is the very attractive receptionist behind him with embarrassed look on her face.

    The receptionist  quickly  apologies,"  Sorry to have startled you. I had duck for lunch, and I didn't have time to chew my food,because my lunch break was cut short by a unscheduled  important meeting I had to attend.   So the duck is repeating on me.
