I stand in the dark,

Motionless yet alert.

Hand on the switch,

Decisions to be made.

 

I hear the whispers,

The laughs, the tears.

Opinions clash in hate,

Influencing decision.

 

A breeze fills the air,

Time slows its progression.

Voices become clearer,

As shadows grow stronger.

 

Time for action,

The switch is flipped.

Upon observation,

No bodies present.

 

Only thing found,

On stage, center left.

A pen and paper,

Voices to write
