Trials of the Mind Pt. 1 (Identification)

Part one of the three part series.

My body lies in disgrace,
within presence of those I once lied for.
Of those I once fought for.
Of those I once loved

Tradition shall not be followed.
For within its occurrence,
lies no means for peace.
No means for tranquility.

The concept of happiness,
of true human pursuit.
Both meaningless and impossible.
Yet the idea remains everything.

Trial and error of the mind,
provide enlightenment.
Not through gaining what you want,
but by losing everything you have.

One is not to be fearful of loss,
but to be aware of it.
For the fear of something
creates its own chaotic reality.

Justin- So far I like it. I read it three times and it became clearer each time. Your writing is very deep and very mature, it makes me think. I especially like this verse:

How true that is, you are certainly wise beyond your years. Keep going, I can't wait to read the next two.

This is deep and somehow I can completely relate to this feeling. I loved the line :
