I looked at you
And you saw right through
All the lies
Behind my smiles

You saw my tears
You knew my fears
And with every care
You were always there

Somehow I'm lost
No matter the cost
In the truth you give
And the life you live

You're a beautiful man
Because you understand
That a girl's heart
Is too precious to break apart
